Educational Version of Pronunciation
Patterns Based on Phonics
(Pronunciation Patterns groups 4,000 words by patterns and phonics rules to help you practice English pronunciation)
You can practice a group of words which have similar sounds and learn the sound tips and the
patterns existing in these words. In this example, if you can say able, then you
shall be able to say cable, disable, fable, stable, table.

You can choose IPA instead of APA. Personally I prefer APA because they are easy
to be remembered. Also, you can choose different looks for your preference.

2. You can compare any two words such as
horse and
house
to help you distinguish
the difference between
the O sound and
the OW sound.
You can compare any two
vowels at a time, and press 1 and 2 to switch between the words
horse and
house
Also, under each vowel, there are more than 50 words to practice with and thus
help you build the mouth muscles.

3. You can record your voice at any time by pressing the F2 key and
play back the recording by pressing the F3 key. You can also remove the tips by unchecking the Display Tips button.

4. You can refer to these phonic rules to help you recall correct pronunciation
without remembering the phonetic spellings. You have over hundreds words for each rule to help you see the patterns and understand
the rules.

5. You can choose the words you have trouble with to practice.
