2. If you are using IE, just click the Run button to set up the program.

If you are using a download manager program or other browser. You can go to your computer and search PPS_Trial_Network.exe on your computer.

3. Go to Start/All Programs/Pronunciation Patterns and Click Pronunciation Patterns Network Student Trial Edition to start the program.

4. At the Login Window, please choose word list suitable for you. If you use the program for beginners or kids under 5, please choose the beginner word list.

Also, the program uses APA (American Phonetic Symbol) as the default phonetic symbol because we are teaching American English Pronunciation. If you prefer IPA (International Phonetic Symbol), please click International Phonetic Alphabet.

If you have your own word list, please click the button beside the word list to open your own word list.

Click the Ok button to login the program. If you have trouble logging to the program, please feel free to contact us and send us the error message.

5. Our online tutorial is inactive with Pronunciation Patterns. Feel free to click the link to see how the program works. For example, if you click the pattern *a*e*, the program will list all the words following this patterns.
